Join a provincial community to build friendships, leadership skills, and a sense of belonging
Mobility for Good (Telus)
Provides a free smartphone and a $0/month data plan for two years to help youth aging out of care stay connected.
PFY Connect
Free, confidential counseling and mental health support specifically for youth (14-24) facing challenges or transitioning to independence.
Bridge the Gapp
Access to local emergency mental health services and wellness resources.
The Link Program
Support for students in grades 6 to 12 who are looking for answers or experiencing a difficult situation.

Office of the Child, Youth and Senior Advocate
An independent office that protects the rights of children and youth in care and ensures your concerns are heard by the government.
Youth in Care Canada (YICC)
A national organization run by and for youth in and from care that provides advocacy, resources, and a nationwide support network.
Project Outsider: A Foster Care Experience Podcast
A podcast featuring stories and conversations by people with lived experience in the foster care system to provide insight and inspiration.
New Brunswick Post-Guardianship Services
Information on the official provincial supports available to you once you leave care (after age 19).
🔽 FUNDING FOR YOUTH FROM CARE
Specific support for those who are or were in the New Brunswick care system.
New Brunswick Youth in Care Scholarship
Covers 100% of your tuition and mandatory fees for any youth who has been in the care of the Minister for at least one year. This applies to all public colleges and universities in New Brunswick.
Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada Scholarships
Provides up to $5,000 per year to help pay for rent, groceries, and books while in school.
Rosemary McCain McMillin Scholarship
Provides up to $5,000 for youth from care pursuing post-secondary or graduate studies at UNB
Storwell Foster Children Bursary
Annual $2,000 bursary specifically for children who were in the foster care system to help with post-secondary costs.
New Brunswick Foster Families Association Scholarship
This scholarship provides up to $400 to youth in foster care who are aiming to continue their education.
