THERE IS HOPE AFTER SEXUAL ABUSE(EN)
Webinar

Being a parent is one of the most rewarding and important jobs. While there are books and podcasts offering parenting tips and strategies to handle challenges, there will be moments of uncertainty for every parent, regardless of whether you are a birth or adoptive parent. The one constant is that every child deserves love and acceptance, regardless of personal circumstances and traumatic experiences.

This workshop will help you better understand the complexities children and youth face when exposed to or experiencing sexual violence. You will learn about natural and expected coping strategies for children and youth, and how to respond in a supportive manner. We will discuss what children need from adults to be the best version of themselves, leading a life of self-respect, healthy love, and compassion for themselves and the world around them. You will leave the workshop with tools to feel confident and reassured that you can play a vital role in the lives of children or youth affected by sexual violence.
